Professor Dr. Hanan Sobhi Obeid

Professor Dr. Hanan Sobhi Obeid is a prominent Jordanian academic based in London, known for her expertise in strategic planning, quality assurance in higher education, and scientific research. She earned her Ph.D. in Strategic Planning in Higher Education from the University of Jordan in 2015 with distinction, after completing her Master’s degree in Executive Leadership Management from the same university in 2012, with an outstanding academic record.

Dr. Obeid holds extensive academic and administrative experience, having served in various institutions, including the Jordanian Ministry of Tourism, the graduate studies department at the University of Jordan, and several cultural and educational centers in both Jordan and the United Kingdom. She also served as Head of the Scientific Research, Strategic Planning, and Quality Assurance Department at an academic institution in the UK.

She has held leading positions in regional and international academic bodies, including President of the Center for International Strategic Studies under the Union of Scientific Entities and Global Human Rights. She has contributed to numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals, such as BOHOUTH Magazine (London), the Maysan Journal for Academic Studies in Iraq, and the Journal of Human Sciences in Algeria. Additionally, she has offered scientific consultations to research bodies in Kuwait and Iraq.

Dr. Obeid boasts a rich academic portfolio, having participated in over 300 academic conferences and forums, and published more than 123 peer-reviewed research papers, including 23 articles indexed in Scopus (Q1–Q4). She has received over 496 letters of appreciation and recognition from academic and research institutions across Jordan and internationally.
