Overview of the Faculty

The Faculty of Law and Politics is one of the essential faculties needed by all societies. In their structure, organization, and stability, societies require judges, lawyers, public prosecutors, managers, and many other key positions vital to the state.

The Faculty of Law and Politics strives for excellence in both education and research, aiming to prepare outstanding graduates in the fields of law and politics. These graduates are qualified to become distinguished professionals in the judiciary, the legal profession, legal departments, companies, and banks, whether in the public or private sector.

Faculty Vision

To elevate the academic and scientific level of law students by enhancing legislative understanding and studying all aspects of law and its sciences through a scientific research-based methodology. The goal is to prepare highly competent legal professionals capable of realizing the concept of justice, derived from the principle of rights and duties.

To produce graduates equipped with knowledge, expertise, and competence, providing human societies with legally qualified professionals to meet their legal and institutional needs.

Faculty Objectives

  • Equip students with a commitment to continuous learning and the pursuit of scientific research, while enhancing and developing their legal knowledge during their studies and after graduation, applying what they have learned in professional practice in accordance with professional ethics.

  • Prepare specialized professionals in various branches of law and justice, qualifying students and providing them with a high level of knowledge in their field of specialization, in line with scientific advancements and meeting the needs of society and the labor market.

  • Encourage students’ cultural, artistic, and social activities through the university’s distinctive interactive environment.

  • Strengthen academic, practical, and cultural ties with local, regional, and international faculties, universities, and scientific institutions.

  • Promote scientific research by conducting studies on new and contemporary topics that address the needs of individuals, society, and the state, as well as the developments and innovations in civil, commercial, administrative, criminal, and international relations.
