Associate Professor Rashad Shaath

Dr. Rashad Shaath is a Palestinian university professor and researcher specializing in accounting, originally from Gaza. He has extensive experience in university teaching and scientific research in the fields of financial accounting, managerial accounting, and auditing. Dr. Rashad is known for his focus on developing educational curricula aligned with the latest international standards in accounting, as well as his efforts to bridge theory and practical application through collaboration with local economic institutions. He has participated in numerous scientific conferences and seminars and published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals addressing topics such as financial performance management, financial transparency, and the impact of internal controls on the quality of financial reporting. Dr. Rashad is also recognized for his role in mentoring graduate students and supervising many master’s and doctoral theses in accounting, contributing to the development of a new generation of competent accountants.
